PL (Polarized Light) filter
The PL (Polarized Light) filter has an effect to eliminate surface reflection of light.
Often used for landscape photography because of the effect to eliminate surface reflection of light and to emphasize color contrast.
*To eliminate reflection on the surface of water and glass. To deepen the color of the blue sky.
*To emphasize the contrast of a mountain surface and buildings.
*To photograph a rainbow clearly.
The effect is exerted in such cases.
In recent cameras having built-in automatic focus and a TTL exposure meter, since a half mirror is incorporated, malfunctions easily occur. A C-PL (Circular PL = circular polarized light) filter needs to be used.
